Windows 10: This may or may not be due to the caller.

Hallo zusammen,
ich habe da seit ca. 20 Tagen eine schöne BSOD Parade. Jedes mal wenn ich morgens meinen PC starte um zu arbeiten, bekomme ich immer eine andere BSOD Meldung. Sie sind irgendwie unterschiedlich aber hängen bestimmt alle zusammen. Ich habe schon MemTest86+ (8 Std.) und scandisk durchgeführt und nach beenden der Tests, wurden keine Fehler gefunden. Somit schließe ich RAM und die SSD aus. Nach dem BSOD starte ich den PC per Reset nochmal neu und dann läuft er den ganzen Tag ohne Probleme.
Ich hatte stark das Netzteil in Verdacht, da ich mir eh ein neues holen wollte, wurde es vor 4 Tagen getauscht. Parallel dazu habe ich ein sauberes Backup von vor ca. 6 Monaten aufgespielt um die Software auszuschließen (keine neue Software oder Updates installiert um extra zu beobachten was passiert). Danach gab´es 3 Tage lang keine BSOD Meldungen mehr... bis heute. Heute lautete die Meldung: BAD POOL HEADER

Die BSOD Parade beinhaltete auch solche Meldungen wie: DRIVER OVERRUN STACK BUFFER, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL oder PFN_LIST_CORRUPT...es ist wie ein Weihnachtskalender, jeden Tag eine neue BSOD Meldung, die ich vorher noch nie gelesen habe...toll oder!

Auffällig ist, das der PC nur beim ersten Start den BSOD fabriziert und nach dem erneuten Start nicht mehr. Es wirkt sich auch nicht irgendwie negativ auf die funktion des PC´s aus. Der PC läuft bzw. arbeitet ohne Probleme den ganzen Tag.

OS: WIN 10 64bit 1703
CPU: AMD FX 6100
Graka: Radeon RX480 8GB
Board: MSI 970A-G45
Ram: 16GB
HD: SSD 250GB Samsung (ca. 6 Monate alt)
Netzteil: be quiet 600 Watt (wurde vor 4 Tagen getauscht)

Hier ist nochmal die Auswertung der heutigen dump Datei. Vielleicht kann jemand den Fehler eingrenzen?

Unable to answere calls / hear other alarms, after setting the alarm to snooze.

I experience the problem, that after setting the alarm to snooze several times I am not able to answere phone calls or hear other alarms.

Setup:

Make several alarms for example 6:00 am and then 7:30am.

Issue:

When the first alarm rings, and you set it to snooze several times, you will not hear the second alarm.

After that, there will be also no response sounds when unlocking the phone etc.

When at this time, someone calls, you can answere the call, hear the other person, but the person will not hear you

as long as you restart the phone.

Very annoying.

Can anyone reproduce this?

It happens on a HTC HD7

"Your device might not be able to play or view this file", when is this dialog finally removed? MTP

I want to discuss this issue with an microsoft technician. I think it speaks books that an anti-usability dialog like this can stay in a product for this long.



You should only be told once that windows thinks you are not able to play a file on a device connected to this system via
MTPand remember that it was already shown. Or even better the dialog as a whole should simply be removed. Problem solved.

I am constantly plagued by this warning, have to sit in front of the system and wait till the copying is finished to be sure it is not interrupted when copying multiple files. The whole dialog doesn't make sense, because Windows cannot determine which files
i can play on which device. So to every user this dialog is only a stall that wastes precious time.

 

C5: How to disable startsound

The startup animation cannot be disabled but try the following options to stop the sound:

1. Press the end call key (other keys may also work) just as the animation starts, it may skip it.

2. Put the phone in silent mode before you switch it off.

3. In your current profile disable the warning tones. This will however stop other sounds such as low battery or the sound in some java apps/games.

Hopefully one of those will help, if not then unfortunately you are stuck with it.

If you switch your phone off/on several times a day you may want to use offline mode instead of switching off. It's far kinder to the battery life and stops all form of communication/connectivity whilst in that mode.
