Festplattengröße ändern ....

Diskutiere und helfe bei Festplattengröße ändern .... im Bereich Festplatten, SSDs & Wechselmedien im SysProfile Forum bei einer Lösung; Kann man irgendwie die Festplattengröße ändern ????     Meinst du das verändern einer Partition ? Denn eine HDD hat eine maximale Kapazität von x-GB, diese kann man nicht verändern.

    Es ist möglich mit so einem genannten Hitachi Feature Tool (FTOOL) die Festplattengrösse von 250 GigaByte auf 80 GigaByte "onDisk" zu begrenzen ! Allerdings können dann auch nur die 80 GB genutzt werden, und der Rest liegt brach !

    Andere Möglichkeit:

    80 GB - Primärpartition
    170 GB - Logische Partition <---- als versteckt

    Leider wird aber in der Datenträgerverwaltung oder in anderen Festplattenmanagern die tatsächliche Festplattengrösse von 250 GB angezeigt, und die versteckte Partition als unbekannte Partition / HTFS deklariert.

    Die beste Lösung wurde schon genannt ... TrueCrypt !;)

    Richtig, man kanns auch nicht zuweisen, ist das selbe.
    Setz den 32GB Jumper -> das wirkt.:cool:
