    Hi Leute,

    nächstes Jahr im Aprill läuft die Garantie meines iPod Classics (80GB) ab. Und da ich mitlerweile doch recht nah an der Volumengrenze bin, wollte ich frage, welche Fesplatte in dem Gerät steckt. Also welche Baugröße und welcher Anschluss.

    Diese infos benötige ich um den iPod dann selbst aufzuwerten ^^.

    Ja, sind 1,8" mit 4200rpm und afaik einem propritären ZIF-Connector.
    Die 80GB hat meines Wissens eine Bauhöhe von 5mm, die 160GB-HDD 8mm, deshalb sind auch die Gehäuse unterschiedlich und ein Aufrüsten nicht ohne weiteres möglich.

    Sehr interessant. Beim suchen auf der Allwissenden Müllkippe bin ich über folgenden Shop gestoßen: https://www.portatronix.de/

    Sieht mir nach einer guten Quelle für iPod-Teile aus. Ich glaube wenn man Lust und Laune hat kann man darüber sogar seinen eigenen iPod baun, wenn man die Teile alle zusammenbekommt.

    Hätte nicht erwartet das es soetwas gibt ^^ .

    Die Preise da sind aber doch teils extrem, da würde ich eher bei ebay kaufen ;)
