Diskutiere und helfe bei Welche Audioformate/Codes nutzt ihr am meisten? im Bereich Umfragen und Aufzählungen im SysProfile Forum bei einer Lösung; Bei mir sind es Mp3´s. Weil schön schlank und vor allem kompatibel. Die Soundqualität reicht mir meistens auch. Sollte aber schon mindestens 192kbit sein.     Bei mir sind es Mp3´s. Weil schön schlank und vor allem kompatibel. Die Soundqualität reicht mir meistens auch. Sollte aber schon mindestens 192kbit sein.

    Ganz klar MP3 - hat sich auch am besten durchgesetzt. Ich schätze es wegen dem geringen Speicherbedarf und der sehr guten Kompatibilität. Mir reichen 128KBit aus, drunter klingts nach Kassettenqualität ^^

    ape, flac, mp3, ogg

    Genau in dieser Reihenfolge :)

    PS: mp4 ist kein Audioformat. Es ist ein Audio-/Videocontainer

    PPS: Könnte man die fehlenden Codecs noch mit aufnehmen in die Umfrage?

    hab schon oft gedacht auf lossless umzusteigen (flac) aber das ist doch etwas viel Speicherbedarf. Gibts nen Vorteil von ogg gegenüber mp3 ?

    ogg is out ;)

    Wenn verlustbehaftet, dann MP3 (ist mittlerweile sehr gut). Ansonsten kann ich WV empfehlen. Eine CD hat dann 400MB, aber man kann die WV mit umbenennen in EXE und Doppelklick wieder in eine WAV extrahieren. Dazu muss jedoch der Parameter -e mit beim erzeugen ran.

    Manchmal wenn ich es nich anders habe auch wma.
    128kbit oft, aber normal versuche ich immer 192kbit zu erreichen.

    ogg hat eine minimal bessere Soundqualität. Hört man aber kaum raus. Testen sag ich dazu nur ;)
    ogg funktioniert auch auf jedem linux sys. mp3 wurde zu anfang nur über das erweitern der player angeboten, später auch vollständig mit ausgeliefert bei einer Distri.
    mp3 haften lizensen mit an die es eigentlich zu einem komerziellen Format machen. ogg war schon immer unter vollkommen freien Lizensen. Aber das mit den Lizensen kümmert scheinbar eh keinen. Zumindest habe ich dahin gehend noch nie von Problemen oder besonderheiten gehört.
