    Das Core i7 940-System bestand aus einer Intel X58-Platine, 1 GiByte großen DDR3-1333-Modulen von Apacer und einer Geforce GTX 260. Dem Core 2 Quad Extreme QX9770 standen mit Ausnahme eines X48-Mainboards von Asus die gleichen Komponenten zur Verfügung.?
