Diskutiere und helfe bei UEFI/BIOS? im Bereich Mainboards im SysProfile Forum bei einer Lösung; Kann mir das mal jemand für Blöde erklären ?     Kann mir das mal jemand für Blöde erklären ? Es gib/gab da das BIOS, das in einem CMOS Chip auf dem Motherboard verbaut war. Und es gibt UEFI. Ist UEFI ein Ersatz für das alte BIOS, oder eine Erweiterung zum vorhandenen CMOS BIOS ? Mein PC läuft mit UEFI-BIOS laut Windows, das sieht aber verdächtig nach dem klassischen BIOS aus und lässt sich auch nur mit der Tastatur steuern. Ich bin verwirrt. Danke für eure Hilfe.
