Diskutiere und helfe bei USB 2 Frontpanel an USB3-Mainboard im Bereich freie Fragen im SysProfile Forum bei einer Lösung; hi, wenn ich ein eigentlich USB2.0-Frontpanel von LianLi an die USB3.0-Pinheader am Mainboard anstecke, krig ich dann USB3.0 am Frontpanel?     Soweit ich weiss, Geht das nicht, weil USB3.0 zusätztlich bauliche Veränderungen bekommen hat, die USB2.0 Stecker nicht beherrschen.

    Mist.

    Hab grad herausgefunden, dass USB3.0 6Adern im Kabel hat (vgl. USB2.0 mit 4 Adern +1 Dummy). Es ist ein Masseanschluss und eine dritte Datenleitung hinzugekommen.
